In  a recent statement, the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has raised a red flag against candidates engaging in multiple registrations for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The board emphasizes its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process and has announced plans to prosecute individuals found involved in such practices.

JAMB, as the governing body for admissions into Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education, is determined to ensure a fair and transparent selection process. The Registrar's warning comes as a response to the increasing instances of candidates attempting to register for the UTME multiple times.

The statement makes it clear that engaging in multiple registrations is not only against the board's policies but will also result in legal consequences. The board is set to prosecute candidates found to be involved in such activities, emphasizing the seriousness of the matter.

Candidates facing difficulties or encountering issues during the registration process are advised to promptly contact JAMB for assistance. The board assures candidates that their concerns will be addressed, and appropriate solutions will be provided to ensure a smooth registration experience.
